A transition into a fresh year is often a time of reflection and preparation. Here at Heartland, we want to know the Word of the Lord for the coming season. It is for this reason that we fast together every January.
The dates this year are January 7-27. We want to encourage you to participate in this 21-day fast and to begin asking the Lord now what He would have you fast during that time.
God may ask you to abstain from food altogether or He may ask you to limit your meals to one a day throughout that time. Whatever you choose to do, do it with your whole heart expecting God to speak in preparation for His purposes in your life for 2019.
Don't miss the 3rd-5th grade Kids' Winter Retreat coming up on January 11-13, 2019! We will be heading up to Hidden Acres Christian Center for three days of winter camp adventure. This will be a time to get to know Jesus and each other better.

The Christmas Party season often brings issues in our lives to the surface. Whether you have identified old patterns, discovered new issues or you just need a tuneup, Freedom Weekend is a wonderful opportunity to improve your spiritual and emotional health!
Throughout this weekend, we will discuss Biblical, authentic repentance and the doorway it creates to deeper spiritual maturity and greater personal freedom. There will be an opportunity for individual repentance and individual prayer ministry.
Freedom Weekend takes place during our corporate fast, so meals will not be provided, although there will be coffee, water and light snacks available. If you are not fasting, you are welcome to bring meals. There will be a refrigerator and microwave available for your use.
We encourage you to come with great expectations for what God wants to accomplish in your life.
