Chris Berglund is a devoted husband, father, and influential teacher with a BA in Biblical Studies from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Master’s Degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. Bringing over 35 years of experience in various full-time ministry roles, Chris has a rich history in church planting alongside notable figures like Che’ Ahn and Lou Engle, and he was instrumental in launching TheCall in 2000, which gathered over 400,000 youth in Washington D.C. for a significant time of prayer and fasting for the nation. He has partnered with Lou Engle for 30+ years.

Chris’s ongoing collaborations with Lou Engle have led to numerous impactful prayer assignments across the United States and beyond. His deep passion for exploring and teaching about the union with Christ and manifest sonship has grown over the years, extending his influence further. He is the founder of Ascending Zion Ministries and now also serves as the co-founder of Prayer Altars. In this latest venture, Chris inspires followers with revelatory teaching and preaching about union with Christ and the Melchizedek Priesthood, continuing to foster deep spiritual engagement and growth.
